Getting Started

PIE access v1.0.0 - install instructions (manual)

  1. Download PIE-Access.zip.
  2. Ensure Plague Inc Evolved is closed.
  3. Extract PIE-Access.zip and copy the PlagueIncEvolved_Data folder into the game's root directory (where PlagueIncEvolved.exe is located). The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PlagueInc\
  4. When prompted, OVERWRITE and replace Assembly-CSharp.dll and any other existing files. The original Assembly-CSharp.dll has been replaced with a version that calls into Accessibility.dll. To uninstall, verify integrity in Steam.
  5. Launch the game. You'll hear 'Loading PIE access, please wait', then 'PIE access (version number) loaded with NVDA' once the menu finishes loading.

Install instructions (automated)

  1. Download PIE-Access-Patcher.exe.
  2. Ensure Plague Inc Evolved is closed.
  3. Run PIE-Access-Patcher.exe and ensure the patcher is pointed to the game's root directory (where PlagueIncEvolved is located). The patcher's default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PlagueInc\
  4. Patch the game using the Patch Plague Inc button.
  5. Launch the game. You'll hear 'Loading PIE access, please wait', then 'PIE access (version number) loaded with NVDA' once the menu finishes loading.

Uninstall: in Steam, right-click Plague Inc Evolved -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files. Steam will restore the original Assembly-CSharp.dll.
